So I would guess this would be my first blog. Wooeee. Well other than the one I have on myspace. So its my first blog using this thing. Evs.
Yesterday here in Carman it started snowing at noon. We didn't have a whole lot of snow so I thought, oh kinda pretty. It wasn't windy so it was just falling nicely. Around 2 I looked out again and it was still snowing. Hm...I'm not a huge fan of the stuff so I think thats enough. At 7 pm I called Larissa to make plans for New Years Eve (that'd be tonight) and it was still snowing. Ok for serious, thats enough. I went to bed at 11:45 and it was still snowing. Sick.
This morning I woke up to find over 2 feet of snow. I was planning on going to Winkler to hear Larissa preach for the first time and I was very determined I was going to get there. So I started shoveling...and shoveling...and oh jeesh forget it. After 15 minutes I was DONE and had only shoveled about a foot past my car. So I had to call Larissa to tell her the sad news I couldn't come :( At least a really nice man from my church came over with his snow blower and I can at least leave my house and people can get into my house!
So with the fact that its New Years Eve I have no idea what is happening tonight. My plans pre snow fall were for Lisa and Larissa to come over then we were going to head to the church for the College and Career party to play games and then back to my house for pizza and movies. Now it looks like Larissa probably won't be able to come (her car is stuck in her garage) but Lisa should be able to make it from Rosenort. Hallelujah. I was beginning to think it was going to be just me and Gwen Stefani (I got her new CD for Christmas and I listen to it pretty much non stop).
I despise snow. It might ruin my first New Years with Larissa. Screw you snow.

hey kelli, yes i despise the snow just as much as you. lucky for me, our first real snow fall of the season was yesterday (jan. 8) so it's been sweet living in ontario just for that reason. now we have snow and we can join the rest of the country in celebrating winter...soon it will be spring though!!!!!
